As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread, we remain committed here at NACO to ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our team, our clients, partners and suppliers as a priority. This is vital to maintaining the functioning of the projects, initiatives and businesses we are involved in.
Within NACO, there are a number of measures we have taken to protect the health and safety of our teams including: home working where possible, reinforcing the importance of handwashing and other hygiene practices including social distancing.
This nevertheless remains a rapidly-changing and unprecedented situation that is affecting lives, societies and economies around the world. The aviation sector, as we have seen in recent days, has also had to make significant adjustments as a result.
We are therefore exploring additional ways to support our clients’ businesses and areas of the aviation industry to help ease the challenges that are currently being faced. This includes looking at preparations that need to be made should there be further changes.
We know from experience that ongoing monitoring and preparation are vital as businesses move through incidents and crises. Alongside your health, safety and well-being they are also key to sustaining operations and business resilience. This is our focus as NACO – for our colleagues, for you, and for all our clients, partners, suppliers across the wider aviation industry.
Understandably, we are monitoring developments continuously – around the world, across the countries we operate in, the projects we work on and the wider aviation industry – and observing the guidance of the respective health authorities.
